A personal friend of mine had his static display R2 stolen from his garage today or yesterday and if you're in that area keep a look out on craigslist, pawn shops, etc.
It's a fiberglass droid with detachable legs. Keep a look out and if you have any leads please send an email to chris@tk409.com

R2 builders are a tight enough community I imagine "personal stash" of the guilty party is one of the only places it could stay long term and not show up again. Still. terrible loss, and my best wishes for recovering it.
